I'm a tutor based in Austin, Texas. I have my masters of science in chemistry from Sam Houston State University and plan to attend UT - Austin to obtain my PhD in chemistry. While attending school I've worked as a teaching assistant and tutor, focusing on chemistry and math. I have a deep passion for chemistry and math because of the role they play in everyday life. Understanding the interplay of chemistry and math allows us to understand the experiences we encounter in everyday life on a much deeper level. That relationship fascinates me. I can help my students' motivation and interest in chemistry and math through this passion. I have been tutoring for five years in one-on-one lessons and in small groups of students. Throughout my time tutoring, I've developed a strategy centered around allowing students to think through the problems themselves, while I provide the support they need to get the right answer. This, I've found, helps my students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. My role is to help students develop their curiosity and excel both inside the classroom and out of it. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing volleyball and watching Bollywood movies. I hope that I can help you reach your educational goals.
